We look forward to all of you coming to Paine Field, WA (PAE) from August 17-20. A few of you are planning to fly general aviation aircraft and others are planning to rent airplanes once they are in Washington. The Rockies, Cascades and Olympics are not to be taken lightly.
I encourage pilots to take this opportunity to consider strategies for flying in mountainous areas, even if only flying across the “hills” back east. Here is the link to an online course offered free by AOPA.

Thursday, August 17 – Check-in and free time. The Hotel check-in time is 1600. The Presidential Suite is reserved for BPA Hospitality Thursday through Saturday.
